JhatpatOrder terms and conditions

The terms that apply when you use the JhatpatOrder app and JhatpatOrder ordering pages.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms apply to the JhatpatOrder Android app, the JhatpatOrder vendor dashboard and the online ordering pages customers open by scanning a JhatpatOrder QR code (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Webtricks Software (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, installing the app or placing an order through the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who the Service is for

  • Vendors are hotels, restaurants, cafés, food stalls and similar businesses that use JhatpatOrder to take and manage orders. Vendor accounts must be opened by a person aged 18 or over who is authorised to act for the business.
  • Staff are people a vendor allows to sign in to its account, for example kitchen or counter staff.
  • Customers are people who place orders with a vendor through a JhatpatOrder ordering page. Customers do not need to install the app, create an account or give any personal details.

2. Your account

Keep your login details private and make sure the information you give us is accurate. Vendors are responsible for everything done through their account, including actions by their staff. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Orders are between the vendor and the customer

JhatpatOrder is software that passes orders from customers to vendors. We do not prepare, sell, price or deliver food or drink. When a customer places an order, the contract for that order is between the customer and the vendor. The vendor alone is responsible for its menu, prices, taxes, food quality and safety, allergen information, preparing and handing over orders, refunds and any complaint about an order.

4. Vendor responsibilities

  • Keep your menu, prices, availability and business details accurate and up to date.
  • Hold all licences and registrations your business needs, such as food safety and tax registrations, and follow the laws that apply to your business.
  • Use the order information you receive only to prepare and hand over those orders.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is false, misleading, offensive or unlawful.

5. Fees and payments

Any subscription or service fees for vendors are agreed separately in writing before they apply. We do not charge customers for using JhatpatOrder ordering pages.

No payments through JhatpatOrder. JhatpatOrder does not take or process payments. The app and the ordering pages do not accept UPI, cards, wallets, net banking or any other online payment, and we never ask for or store payment or bank details. Customers pay the vendor directly, in whatever way the vendor accepts, and any question about a payment is between the customer and the vendor.

6. Notifications

The app uses push notifications to tell vendors about new and updated orders. Notifications depend on your device settings, battery and data-saving options, your internet connection and services run by Google, so we cannot guarantee that every notification arrives instantly. Keep notifications switched on for JhatpatOrder and check the order dashboard regularly during opening hours.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. This includes trying to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfering with or overloading the Service, reverse-engineering the app except where the law allows it, using the Service to send spam or unlawful content, or placing fake or abusive orders.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, internet or hosting problems, or events outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features from time to time. If a change significantly reduces what a paying vendor receives, we will tell that vendor in advance.

9. Intellectual property

The app, software, design and the JhatpatOrder name belong to us or our licensors. Vendors keep ownership of their own content, such as menus, item names, descriptions and images, and give us permission to store and display that content as needed to run the Service.

10. Privacy

Our JhatpatOrder Privacy Policy explains what information the Service collects and how it is used and protected.

11. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by following the steps on our account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently or puts other users or the Service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you the chance to fix the problem.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, lost orders, or losses caused by a vendor, a customer, a third-party service, or events outside our reasonable control. As far as the law allows, our total liability to a vendor for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees that vendor paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

Vendors agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from claims by customers or others about the vendor's food, drink, orders, prices, content or breach of these terms or the law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell vendors in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
